Going to Egypt can be extremely overwhelming with 20 million people in Cairo alone. My cousin and I were traveling alone which makes it even more intense, but I’m so glad that we used Exceptional Egypt Travel because the minute I landed, I had no more worries.

First of all, the pre-trip communication was on point. I felt as if I was very informed on what we’d be doing, what I should bring, what I shouldn’t, etc. Once we landed in Cairo, we were greeted almost immediately after getting off the plane by an associate who had a sign with our names and they took care of the entire visa process, we did nothing but walk out the airport to meet our driver.

Shereif and this company was recommended through family and friends, but their amazing reviews didn’t even come close to the actual experience we were met with. This travel company has the most knowledgeable tour guides I’ve ever experienced. I would go as far as to say they are egyptologists rather than tour guides. The first day we went to Sakkara and Shereif gave us a taste of what we’d be getting into the remaining days. Incredible knowledge, historically overwhelming sites, and experiences that we would never forget. Not only could he answer every question, we never had to wait in line, I never felt unsafe, and I always felt more than comfortable to ask even the silliest questions. On the day of the pyramids we didn’t have to wait in any lines to go inside the pyramids which was amazing, and Shereif took care of every single expense as far as tickets and access. This made everything so seamless which in my opinion is worth every dollar. Between the Nile river cruise with Egyptian dancers, singers, and more and the amazing meals we had everyday, there was never a second of disappointment.

We also were able to tailor our trip to whatever we wanted to do, the top things we wanted to do were prioritized by the tour company and again, simply seamless. Between safety, comfortability, and overall ease of business, I can’t recommend this tour company enough. I’ll never forget the experiences I had in Cairo and I truly believe most of this was due to the fact that we had an incredible companion. Thank you to Exceptional Egypt Travel again and again!

I absolutely LOVED my trip to Egypt! What a dream come true to be able to see Cairo and Luxor. Sherif made the trip incredible in every way. He picked us up and was with us almost the entire time. He and his team would pick us up from our hotel every morning and take us to our destinations for the day. He explained everything we were seeing and where we were going. He is fluent in English and a super nice guy! He is passionate about his country and its rich history! He is incredibly knowledgeable and makes learning enjoyable. I never lost interest in what we were seeing. If there is a problem, Sherif will handle it. I had issues with jewelry I purchased, and he made sure it was fixed immediately. He even fixed a problem when I got home to the US. (my lavender oil smashed in my suitcase and he had the store send me a new one! Who does that?).

I plan on coming back to Egypt next year and Shereif and his team will be my only call for all my travel details!!!! There is no short of tour guides when going to Egypt, but Sherif is simply the BEST!!!!
